Antoni Łaszewski is a PhD student in Economics and Finance at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. His research interests focus on the third pillar pensions and long-term saving in OECD countries. He completed a master’s degree in economics as the Best Graduate of the Faculty, having previously obtained his bachelor’s degree in the same field. In addition to academic education, he has acquired practical experience through an internship at the National Bank of Poland and a training programme at a commercial bank’s retail branch. These experiences have provided him with a deeper understanding of motivations behind people’s financial decisions and functioning of the economy. His economic knowledge is used not only in academic research, but also applied in investing on the stock market.
